Rant Of The Day is where I get to mouth off about whatever I feel like for however long I like. Theoretically, I'll update my whinge/opinion piece every weekday; in practice, maybe not so often.

A little housekeeping is not a dangerous thing

• One regular reader wrote in to complain that yesterday's rant on the romance between Andrew Ridgeley and Keren Woodward had a recent picture of him, but not of her. Ever eager to oblige our demanding if minute public, Gusworld is proud to present the sleeve from Bananarama's most recent single, 'Take Me To Your Heart'. (And no, it's not the SAW tune of the same name released on Rick Astley's second album.)
• We also commented yesterday on the absence of any reference to the Good Living Cheese awards in the Sydney Morning Herald's Good Living section. They did rate a mention, though, in the main body of the paper. Just in case you're dying of curiosity, the winning cheese was Fromage Fermier, an ash-coated goats milk cheese. The headline was 'Say cheese with organic milk'. The word 'cheese' was mentioned 20 times in the article. This would be our summary:

• And on a barely-related note: We've been wanting for some time to comment on a recent survey by the Sun which asked readers to vote on who they would prefer to date: Fergie or a goat. The goat won in a non-shock victory by a ratio of seven to one. Try as we might, though, all we can think to say is that tabloid newspapers are extremely stupid, and some of their readers are even stupider.
